I am so pleased that I have found your site (and Andy Mort’s, and Susan Cain’s), and listened to the TED talks and read some of the books.
It means a lot to me to know it’s ok, even normal, to be me (sensitive to sounds, smells, visual data, emotions etc).
At 55 I now have some understanding as to why I’m not verbose, and have a high need to be alone.
I have always been the square peg outsider, and overlooked because I’m not interested in being louder, flashier or more important than others.
Still very challenging, and draining.
But I have a very wicked sense of humour and am circumspect about most situations.
I really appreciate you (and your team?)sharing your words and your hearts.
